Apatte62 Brawijaya Team is ready to make Indonesia proud in the international arena by going to Qatar to participate in the prestigious Shell Eco-marathon Asia-Pacific 2025 competition. This event will take place at the Losail International Circuit, Qatar, and will be attended by the best teams from various countries in the Asia-Pacific region.

In this competition, Apatte62 Brawijaya sent two teams, each with its superior vehicle. The first team will compete in the Urban Electric category with the car name “Marsela EV”, while the second team will compete with the Prototype Hydrogen vehicle with the car name “Anagata FCV”. Both teams have been preparing intensively for the past few months to ensure maximum performance in this vehicle energy efficiency competition.
Shell Eco-marathon is an energy-efficient vehicle innovation competition that challenges students from all over the world to create vehicles with the best fuel efficiency. Apatte62 Brawijaya Team hopes to achieve the best results and demonstrate the excellence of energy-efficient vehicle technology innovation from Indonesia.
With high spirits and full support from Universitas Brawijaya, Apatte62 Team is determined to give their best in this competition. More than just achieving achievements, their participation is real proof that Indonesian students are able to innovate and create environmentally friendly technology that is competitive in the international arena. The success of this team is expected to inspire the younger generation to continue developing sustainable solutions for the future of transportation.
In this competition, the Apatte 62 team entered 2 categories in different classes. Apatte Elang Perkasa 1 on Urban Battery Electric category with team number #702 and Apatte Elang Perkasa 2 on Hydrogen Prototype category with team number #201. The registration process began on Saturday, February 7, 2025. Registration began at 09.00 but the Apatte team arrived at the venue at 06.00 in the morning to get an early registration sequence amidst the cold air temperature at the Lusail International Circuit which reached 15 ° C.
After the registration process, the team processed the transfer of vehicles and equipment from the loading dock to the paddock to assemble vehicle components so that they could immediately follow the technical inspection process which opened at 13.00. The Apatte 1 Urban BE team has passed 7 phases out of 12 phases that must be passed, while the Apatte 2 Proto Hydrogen team is also ready to go through 11 stages of technical inspection. Hopefully on the 2nd day, all Apatte teams can pass all the required phases so that they can practice to try the track at the Lusail International Circuit Doha.
