Dean of the Faculty of Computer Science, Mr. Wayan Firdaus Mahmudy, S.Si., M.T., Ph.D officially launched Filkom Counseling and Student Services Room, Thursday (19/08/2021).
This activity was also attended by the Dean officials and the Head of Integrated Service Unit FILKOM, Edy Santoso, S.Si., M.Kom by implementing the Health protocol.
FILKOM will continue to provide services to the students, both in terms of academic and non-academic. In the Counseling Service there will be an Integrated Service Unit for Sexual Violence and Bullying (ULTKSP).
“Filkom will continue to improve its non-academic services such as this counseling service which was ordered directly by the Rector and ratified by the Dean’s Decree on last July. The purpose of building the Counseling and Student Services room is to give a good and comfortable impression to students who will convey their complaints to the faculty,” said Wayan in his speech.
On the one hand, the Counseling and Student Services Room is a forum for students who will convey their complaints to the Faculty.
The faculty will also always try to protect the rights of students while in the campus, and student secrets will be guarded by the faculty. The scope of guidance and counseling in the faculties will later include assistance efforts covering the fields of personal guidance, social guidance, study guidance and career guidance.
