The Department of Family Medicine, Faculty of Medicine, Universitas Brawijaya (Dokkel – FKUB) carried out a Community Service (Pengmas) activity “Social Media Based Health Content Creation Workshop” for Community Health Service Managers at six community health centers in Malang City, Saturday, (19/8/23) in Room 603, 6th Floor of GPP FKUB.
Member of the community service team, Alidha Nur Rahmani, S.Ked., MSc., Sp. KKLDP in its interview with FKUB Public Relations said that this time’s family medicine community service raised the topic “Social Media Based Health Content Creation Workshop.
“In accordance with the theme raised, we want to provide insight and content creation skills, especially for staff at the Community Health Center, not only for them but we ourselves also want to learn how to use social media as a forum for health promotion,” said Dr. Alidha, .
FK alumnus added that the rapid development of the era of technology and social media is one of the reasons why content on social media about health needs to be created to help programs that are being implemented.
“The idea came from there, and coincidentally, at Family Medicine FKUB, we also have a team that wants to develop a health podcast (Dr. Thareq) so they want to collaborate and develop health content which can also be useful for community health center programs,” he said.
Basically, the idea of carrying out this training has been in the works for a long time, but there are so many things that need to be prioritized so that at the start of the activity it still involves six Community Health Centers in Malang City which have collaborated with FKUB Family Medicine (DInoyo, Kendal Sari, Kendal Kerep, Kedungkandang Family Health Centers , Mulyorejo, Polowijen).
“However, we also hope that in the future we will be able to carry out follow-up activities and provide similar training targeting community health centers in an even bigger direction and develop this training both in Malang Raya, at the provincial level and even at the national level,” he said hopefully (An4nk-Humas/OKY/UB PR/ Trans.
