UB Website Won the 1st Place of DIKTI Public Relations Award for the Fourth Time

Universitas Brawijaya (UB) won another achievement at the 2020 Higher Education Public Relatons Award (AHD), namely 1st place for the category of page management, and 1st place winner for the category of Social Media Management. This was announced at the event “Performance Achievements, Higher Education Award 2020 and Performance Projection in 2021” held by the Directorate General of Higher Education, Ministry of Education and Culture, Wednesday (23/12/2020), online.
The assessment is carried out starting in September 2020 with the stages of sending public relations activity reports in each competition category, presentation of public relations activities, displaying video activities, and interviews.
The Head of Sub Division of Archives and Public Relations, Kotok Gurito, said that this achievement was a gift towards the close of 2020. “The first best achievement for managing UB web page is very proud because it won for the fourth time since 2017 until now. For social media and other fields, we will improve it in the future, “he said.
AHD participants consist of PTN Legal Entities (PTN-BH), PTN and Public Services (BLU), PTN Work Units, and LLDikti. There are also categories given in this award including page management, social media, press conferences and press releases, magazines, the most popular public relations personnel, and management of public service complaints through LAPOR!

UB Social Media Wins 2nd Runner Up of the 2020 Higher Education Public Relations Award

The assessment criteria for the Pages category include bounce rate (percentage of visitors who access in one day divided by the total number of visitors), pages per-session (number of pages accessed in one visit), and reflected duration (average duration of visits) in google analytic. Meanwhile, the assessment in the Social Media category includes various social media, engagement rate through social media analytics, such as insights on Facebook and Instagram.
The assessment was carried out by an Independent Jury consisting of Ade Kadarisman, S.Sos., M.T., M.Sc (Academics from Padjadjaran University-UNPAD Bandung), Donny, B.U. S.T., M.Si, Wicaksono, and Ester Lince Napitupulu.
Director General of Higher Education Prof. Ir. Nizam, M.Sc., DIC., Ph.D in this activity said, the Dikti Public Relations Award is a form of award given from the results of monitoring and evaluation of the public relations performance of State Universities (PTN) and Higher Education Service Institutions (LLDikti), as well as being measurement of public relations performance.
