Vice Mayor of Malang City Gives Tausiyah in Halal bi Halal of Faculty of Animal Husbandry Big Family

Halal bi Halal at Faculty of Animal HusbandryHalal bi Halal is a momentum to forgive each other which becomes an important tradition for various communities during Eid ul-Fitr. And so with Faculty of Animal of University of Brawijaya which organized the event, Wednesday (20/Jul/2016). This year Halal bi Halal is special because coincide with the release of prospective hajj pilgrims at Faculty of Animal Husbandry big family. In addition to events titled “Silaturrahim Halal bi Halal and the Release of Prospective Hajj Pilgrims of Faculty of Animal Husbandry big Family”, also invited Drs. H. Sutiaji who is a Vice Mayor of Malang City.

Convened at Auditorium Hall of Deanery Building of Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Sutiaji gave tausiyah towards the big family of Faculty of Animal Husbandry about Eid and Hajj. According to the man who was born in Lamongan 52 years ago, Eid means removing sins and mistakes. Thus through Halal bi Halal could ask for forgiveness each other. On the occasion, he was also presented that hajj is a compulsory call by Allah SWT into his servants who are capable in terms of financial matters.

In the upcoming hajj month, as many as seven hajj pilgrims from the big family of Faculty of Animal Husbandry will depart to the Holy Land. Such as Dr. Ir. Sri Minarti, MS; Dr. Ir. Kuswati, MS; Ir. Nurul Siti Khamaliyah, MP; Dr. Ir. Purwadi, MS; Ir. M. B. Haryono, MP; Prof. Dr. Ir. M. Nur Ihsan, MS dan Dr. Ir. Irfan H. Djunaidi, M.Sc. On behalf of the faculty, the Dean and Head of Dharma Wanita Persatuan of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry gave ex-gratia into the prospective pilgrims and wish them returning to homeland safely and becomes a hajj mabrur.

At the end of the event, Sutaji advises the guests who are including academic communities of Faculty of Animal Husbandry and also pensioners. He mentioned that as a creature, we should take a banana philosophy. A banana is always sincere and gives benefits (fruitful) before dying and dying after beneficial, but when it is helpful never counting deeds and brags.

“Do not estimate yourself since someday everything will be taken and return to him merely by taking deeds as provisions to the afterlife,” he said. [dita/Humas UB/trans. Denok]
