The Computer-Based Written Examination (UTBK) of the National Selection Based on Tests (SNBT) in 2025 will last for seven days (23/4-29/4/2025). As one of the locations, the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya (FILKOM UB), as in previous years, has prepared facilities and infrastructure to support the implementation of UTBK, as well as create a calm and conducive atmosphere for participants. UTBK activities will be held in five rooms, all of which are centered in building G, 1st floor.

Dahnial Syauqy, S.T., M.T. as the Person in Charge of Information Technology (PJ TI) at FILKOM UB, said that the exam is scheduled in two sessions in the computer laboratory of building G, FILKOM UB and assisted by 1 IT admin and 5 technicians for two sessions in a day.

“Technical preparations are carried out comprehensively, also related to the readiness of infrastructure and resources. We have checked the network, computer devices and backup procedures in case of technical problems, so that the implementation runs orderly, safely, and according to national standards,” explained Dahnial.

Hariyatul Fitria, S.Ab., as the Person in Charge of the Location (PJL) at FILKOM UB has also prepared a transit room for participants before going to the exam room.

“We have conducted simulations related to the arrival flow, until later the exam participants leave the room. With this arrangement, we hope that the implementation of the 2025 UTBK will run smoothly and with minimal obstacles,” explained Hariyatul.

On the first day of implementation (23/04/2025) of UTBK SNBT, UB Chancellor, Prof. Widodo, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D.Med.Sc., accompanied by the Dean of FILKOM UB, Prof. Ir. Wayan Firdaus Mahmudy, S.Si., MT., Ph.D. and the faculty leadership, conducted an inspection to ensure that the implementation ran smoothly. The group reviewed the rooms, facilities and supporting facilities for exam participants at FILKOM UB. Hopes were also pinned on prospective students who will fill the lecture benches in the new academic year and become part of the superior generation who are ready to contribute to the country.
