The Second Batch of UTBK in UB was followed by 888 Participants

The second batch of Computer-Based Writing Examination (UTBK) at Universitas Brawijaya (UB) was attended by 888 participants. This activity is held for six days, Saturday-Tuesday (28 May-2 June 2022).

Secretary of the Directorate of Administration and Academic Services, Heri Prawoto Widodo, S.Sos., M.A.B said that the implementation of the second batch of UTBK is generally the same as the first batch, both for the flow of participants and health protocols.

“So before entering the room, students are required to wash their hands and wear masks, then go to the transit room to leave their bags, and only enter the test room with their ID, participant card, and diploma, through a metal detector check,” said Heri.

Before entering the room, participants must ensure that they do not bring a recording device, camera, or communication device with a metal detector. This has been done in the first batch of UTBK, and has helped prevent fraud.

“The SOP is the same, and in the first batch previously, no violations or fraud were found. Hopefully the second batch will also run in order,” said Heri.

It should be noted, in the UTBK for the State University Joint Selection (SBMPTN) 2022 in UB, in the first batch which was held on 17-23 May 2022, 17,792 participants were recorded. There were 807 participants who did not attend. So that the percentage of participant attendance in the first batch of UTBK is 95.66 percent. [Irene/ Humas UB/ Trans. Iir]
