The First Wave of Computer-Based Writing Examination (UTBK) began simultaneously on Wednesday (12/4/2021). Every day until April 18, UTBK will hold two sessions.
Faculty of Engineering, Universitas Brawijaya (FTUB) becomes the venue for conducting examinations in the field of science. The first session is 06.45 – 10.30 WIB and the second session is at 13.00 – 16.35 WIB.
This year, FT UB provides 65 computers spread over four points; Civil Computing Lab, Capita Selecta Room of PWK Department, and Industrial Engineering in Simulation Lab and Computer Lab.
The readiness of each room has also been reviewed by the Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nuhfil Hanani AR, M.S., along with the ranks of the Deans on Saturday (10/4/2021).
“The distance in the waiting room and in the examination room is good. Keep maintaining the health protocol and make sure the windows in each room are open during the implementation, “said the Rector.
As well as the rector’s direction, the implementation of UTBK in FT UB is carried out with a health protocol. The participant companion must not wait at the test site. Before entering the room, participant must go through a temperature check, washing hands with hand soap, and keep a distance in the exam room.
UTBK itself is an entrance test to higher education for the State Higher Education Entrance Joint Selection (SBMPTN) pathway which is carried out by the Higher Education Entrance Test Institute (LTMPT).
The first batch will be held on Monday, 12 April to Sunday, 18 April 2021 and the second batch is on Monday, 26 April to Sunday, 2 May 2021 with an additional time until 3-4 May 2021.
