UPT IAA Invites NCU Taiwan, Shares Information on Further Studies and Scholarships

UPT International Academic Affairs (IAA) at Universitas Brawijaya (UB) recently held an “Information Session and Interview” event for students interested in further studies in Taiwan. This time, IAA UB collaborated with National Central University (NCU), one of Taiwan’s prestigious universities. For NCU, this visit is one of many to UB and Indonesia, as they conduct annual roadshows to provide information about their university and scholarship opportunities.

Head of UPT IAA, represented by Head of International Academic Engagement Henny Rosalinda, S.IP., M.A., Ph.D., stated that the event demonstrates the strong partnership with various universities in Taiwan, particularly with NCU. She expressed gratitude for NCU’s return visit to UB to share valuable scholarship information with UB’s academic community. “Thank you to Prof. Hsu and the NCU delegation for being here. This information is very beneficial for our students, enabling them to pursue further studies in Taiwan,” said the lecturer from the International Relations Department.

Meanwhile, Prof. Hsieh-Lung Hsu, NCU’s Vice President for International Affairs, expressed appreciation for UB hosting the event. He highlighted NCU’s commitment to continually enhancing academic collaboration with UB, which has been in place for many years. Prof. Hsu reaffirmed their dedication to exploring further potential partnerships with UB. “We are very pleased to be back at UB. Our mission is to offer UB students the opportunity to study abroad at our university, which will contribute to the growing number of Indonesian students in Taiwan, currently the largest group of international students at NCU,” he shared.
