UPT International Academic Affairs Universitas Brawijaya Holds Seminar on Scholarship and Internship Opportunities in Taiwan 2025

Universitas Brawijaya continues to strengthen its commitment to providing international education opportunities for its students by organizing the seminar titled “Scholarships and Internships in Taiwan 2025.” Held by the UPT International Academic Affairs in the Rectorate Meeting Room, the event was attended by students eager to gain deeper insights into scholarship programs and internship opportunities in Taiwan.

The seminar aimed to introduce various scholarship programs and internship opportunities for students looking to develop their careers and academic competencies in Taiwan. In addition to information about the available types of scholarships, participants also received details about the application process, requirements, and tips for successfully securing scholarships or internship positions at Taiwanese companies.

In his opening remarks, Dr. Didik Hartono, S.S., M.Pd, Head of UPT International Academic Affairs at Universitas Brawijaya, emphasized the importance of international opportunities like this for students’ career and academic development. “Taiwan is one of the countries with rapid advancements in education and technology industries. Through scholarship and internship programs, students can gain knowledge and skills directly from the country while enriching their cross-cultural experiences,” he stated.

The seminar featured speakers from various educational and industrial institutions in Taiwan, including representatives from renowned universities and companies offering internship programs for international students. Several Universitas Brawijaya alumni, who had studied and worked in Taiwan, also attended to share their testimonials and tips on the application process and how to adapt to life in Taiwan.

In addition to explaining preparations for studying in Taiwan, the seminar also covered the Benefits of Studying in Taiwan and the Taiwan Ministry of Education Scholarships, which include both degree and non-degree programs.

The UPT International Academic Affairs of Universitas Brawijaya hopes that through this event, students will be more motivated to pursue education and work experiences abroad. With open access to information and support from the university, it is expected that more students will seize international opportunities to develop their potential and enhance their global competitiveness.
