The Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya (FH UB) held a workshop on “Lecturer’s Scientific Job Map” on Wednesday, (6/12/2024). The workshop, which took place in the Auditorium on the 6th Floor of A Building, FH UB, aims to compile and update the lecturer’s scientific job map at FH UB, so that it can improve the quality of teaching and research at the Faculty of Law.
The event was opened by the Dean of UB Faculty of Law, Dr. Aan Eko Widiarto, S.H., M.Hum., who in his speech emphasized the importance of the scientific job map in faculty development.
“This activity is a strategic step to ensure that each lecturer has a clear and measurable role in the development of science in the faculty. This job map will also be a reference in improving lecturer competence and curriculum development,” said Dr. Aan.
Aan also added that the scientific mapping is very helpful in the division of academic tasks and responsibilities for lecturers at FH UB.
“The scientific job map is very effective in creating a dynamic and productive academic environment, not only helping in the division of tasks and responsibilities of lecturers, but also playing an important role in the development of academic careers for the faculty itself,” he added.
In addition to presentations, the workshop also held a discussion and question and answer session. The discussion produced various constructive inputs and suggestions that will be used in compiling the scientific job map at FH UB.
In his closing remarks, Aan hoped that this scientific mapping could bring FH to be better in developing its curriculum.
“Hopefully the results of this workshop can be implemented immediately and bring positive changes to the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya,” concluded Aan. (Rma/FH PR/ OKY/ UB PR/ Trans. Iir)
