Lancang Kuning University (Unilak) located in Riau cooperates with UB to collaborate. The signing of the collaboration was carried out in the Banquet Room, 6th Floor of the Rectorate Building between Prof. Widodo, S.Si., M.Sc., PhD.Med.Sc (UB) and Prof. Dr. Junaidi, SS., M.Hum (Lancang Kuning University), Friday (16/6/2023).

The Rector of Unilak said in his speech that follow-up collaboration was carried out with UB Faculty of Economics and Business and the Library. FEB UB cooperates with Unilak in terms of assisting the establishment of S3 Management Science while the Library is one of the collaborations, namely increasing users, especially for students.

“In addition, joint publications are very important, as the Rector (UB) said. Because to go from an associate professor to a head professor or a head associate professor to a professor, publications are often become problem,” said the Rector of Unilak in his remarks.

He added that there were 30 outbound Unilak students. He hopes that the opportunity to study for one semester at another campus can also be carried out by Unilak students at UB.

“For us, the opportunity to study at another campus is very valuable, even if it’s only for one semester,” he said.

The Head of UPT Library Dr Iwan Permadi, S.H., M.Hum said the planned collaboration included intellectual assistance in e resources (digital library materials) to improve users, especially students.

“UB has provided assistance to students who will graduate so that they can improve their libraries to be up-to-date, for at least the last three years,” he said.

The next collaboration is repository development. UB has developed an open access service for final assignments starting from the Vocational to Doctoral levels. This service makes plagiarism checks easier to detect. [sitirahma/ UB PR/ Trans. Iir]
