The Integrated Counseling Service Unit for Sexual Violence and Bullying (UKLTKSP) of the Faculty of Computer Science, Universitas Brawijaya (FILKOM UB) held an interesting podcast entitled Ruang Cerita to increase understanding and awareness regarding the importance of supporting each other in the campus environment, Thursday (6/3/2025). The first podcast in collaboration with Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) presented two speakers, Sumarah Noor Widyastuti and Iin Lujeng Ariati. They are representatives of Dharma Wanita Persatuan (DWP) FILKOM UB.
One of the main topics raised in this podcast is the role of Sahabat Campus in creating a healthy environment and supporting the campus environment. Campus Friends are not just ordinary friends, but they are individuals who can support each other, provide a safe space, and help each other in facing academic and emotional challenges. Campus Friends have an important role in creating an atmosphere that supports the well-being and mental health of students, which in turn can reduce the potential for sexual violence and bullying.
Sumarah explained that DWP FILKOM is ready to contribute to creating a safe and comfortable campus. In 2024, the FILKOM EDUHEALTH event, Sharing Session, was also held for the initial introduction of Sahabat Kampus (https://filkom.ub.ac.id/2024/11/18/filkom-eduhealth-sharing-session/).
“The role of FILKOM Sahabat Kampus aims to provide comprehensive support to students with a motherly approach, creating a warm and supportive environment on campus,” said Sumarah.
Iin hopes that the podcast that is held can provide clarity for the FILKOM UB academic community regarding Sahabat Kampus.
“DWP will help create a safe and comfortable campus through Sahabat Kampus. Through this similar event, it is hoped that awareness and understanding of the importance of supporting each other in the campus environment can grow,” explained Iin. (nkp/dwf/rr/UB PR/ Trans. Iir)
