The opening of this competition was held on Thursday (02/06/2022) at Widyaloka Building, Universitas Brawijaya.
Peksima will be held on 2-5 June 2022 and take place in several locations in Universitas Brawijaya. In this competition between students, there are 17 competitions that will be competed. According to Analis, there is an increase in the number of participants and the number of competitions. “There will be additional short film competitions and pop song creations this year, but only 15 will be competed since the Student Activity Unit (UKM) will represent dance and vocal group competitions,” he explained.
This year the number of participants, added Analis, jumped one hundred percent. “Last year there were 100 participants, while this year there were 202 people, an increase of 2 times compared to last year. The judges who are appointed also have standards. “One of the requirements for the jury is to have a certificate of competence in coaching. It is hoped that during the next stage of team development, there will be judges who will accompany them to go to Peksimida, with a composition of 1 jury from UB and 2 judges from outside UB for each competition,” he explained.
Not only successful as an organizer, Analis also hopes that there will be UB representatives in Peksimida and advance to Peksiminas. “Because this year we are the host of Peksiminas,” said the man who teaches at the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine.
The types of competitions contested in Peksima include pop, seriosa, keroncong, dangdut poetry reading, short story writing, poetry writing, play writing, painting, comic strip, poster design, color photography, black and white photography, monologue, pop song and short film creation.
