The implementation of the 2025 Computer-Based Written Examination for the National Selection Based on Tests (UTBK SNBT) at Universitas Brawijaya (UB) was held for a week, (23-29/04/2025). Followed by 20,859 participants, this activity gave a positive impression to participants from various regions.
Citra, a participant from Malang, said that this was the second time she had come to UB. “UB is close to my school, and it has been my choice from the start,” she said. Together with Ingrid, who is from Papua, both were satisfied with the exam atmosphere. “This is my first time setting foot on UB campus. The room for the test is comfortable, the committee is also friendly,” said Ingrid, Thursday (4/24/2025).

A similar thing was conveyed by Fadika and Alfin, participants from Malang. They appreciated the cool and conducive conditions of the exam room. “The room is cool, good for working on questions. There were no obstacles at all,” said Alfin.
Meanwhile, a participant from Tulungagung who is familiarly called Izzas chose UB as the exam location and his dream campus. He registered for the Nursing Study Program. “The facilities are okay, cool, and everything runs smoothly. Hopefully I can pass and be part of UB,” he said.

Other participants, Mancista and Adila who came from schools in Batu City region said that the exam questions were quite challenging, but were supported by UB’s facilities which were already very adequate. “The SNBT was quite difficult, but the facilities were good and well-maintained,” said Mancista.

The impressions conveyed by the participants reflect UB’s commitment to present an orderly, friendly, and comfortable UTBK implementation. The conducive campus environment and responsive committee services are an added value.
The implementation of UTBK at UB was carried out in 58 examination rooms spread across 16 locations in campus. As many as 16 participants were people with disabilities. UB provides various supporting facilities, including 1,520 computer units and 152 backup units to ensure the smooth running of the exam, as well as 60 metal detector units to prevent cheating. UB also deployed 474 room supervisors and 147 technical supervisors to maintain the order of the exam.
“Hopefully, UB will be even more glorious, even cooler, and even more successful,” concluded Izzas, representing the hopes of the participants for UB as their future campus. [MEL/MIT/ UB PR/ Trans. Iir]
