Universitas Brawijaya (UB) won five awards at the Diktiristek Award, Thursday (13/1/2022). Five awards were received as the Most Independent Study Sending Universities, Best Assistant Lecturer of Independent Campus Internships (Mikchaell Alfanov Pardamean Panjaitan), Second Best Public Relations Award for Social Media Category and First Best in Broadcast Category, BLU College Press Conference, and Second Hope for Website Category. The award was received by the Vice Rector IV for Planning and Cooperation, Prof.Dr.Ir. Moch. Sasmito Djati, M.S. at the Ministry of Education and Culture Building.
UB Rector, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nuhfil Hanani AR., M.S. express gratitude for the achievements that have been achieved.
“We should be grateful. This is an achievement for all of us. Achievements from all UB community who are committed to achieve and reputable,” he said.
The Head of Public Relations and Archives, Kotok Gurito, S.E., hopes that the achievement of the PR award can be a mouthpiece for the university in establishing good relations with stakeholders.
“We are proud of the victory of UB’s public relations in the Diktiristek Award 2021 event. Public relations as the mouthpiece of the university must be able to establish good relations inside and outside. In the future, public relations must be integrated with the community either directly or through internal and external media. Our dream is that UB is not only known nationally but also internationally,” said Kotok.
In her speech, the task executor of the Secretary of Directorate General of Diktiristek Prof. Tjitjik Srie Tjahjandarie said the award was a form of appreciation to stakeholders, namely Universities, Higher Education Service Institutions, BUMN, Private Parties, Journalists and Media who had participated in supporting the MBKM Diktiristek program.
“There are four awards given by Diktiristek, namely Merdeka Campus Award, Diktiristek Cooperation Award, Diktiristek Public Relations Award, and Journalist and Media Award that supports the implementation of the Diktiristek MBKM,” he said.
Prof. Tjitjik added that the award was also given as a form of evaluating the performance of higher education and Higher Education institutions, especially the Public Relations and Cooperation division for the past year on MBKM program. (Humas UB/ Trans. Iir).
