The library held UB Library Book Fair (4/9-16/9/2023) at Gazebo in front of the Library. Head of UB Library, Mr. Dr. Iwan Permadi, SH., M.Hum symbolically opened the event by cutting the ribbon with representatives from Buka Buku Festival and UB Press.
This year, UB Library Book Fair collaborates with two big partners, namely UB Press and Buka Buku Festival, to present a variety of extraordinary book collections.
UB Press, as the internal publisher of Universitas Brawijaya, will present brilliant works of the academic community, while Buka Buku Festival will present novels and non-fiction books from leading publishers such as Gramedia, Mojok, Coconut, Buku Kita, Alvabet, Raja Grafindo, Baca, Republika, Bambu Community, Renjana Group, and Turos.
In this activity, UB Press provides a fantastic discount of 90%, while Buka Buku Festival provides 80% discount for all existing books. Buka Buku Festival will provide additional discounts with a total purchase of IDR 100 thousand getting a 5% discount, IDR 200 thousand getting a 7.5% discount, and IDR 300 thousand getting a 10% discount.
Apart from that, UB Library Book Fair will also present a talk show featuring the author of the best selling book “The Alpha Girl’s Guide: 2023 Edition”, namely Henry Manampiring. [UB PR/ Trans. Iir]
