
The Bureaucratic Reform Unit (SRB) of Brawijaya University (UB) held an Integrity Zone Evaluation Worksheet (LKE) Workshop at UB Guest House, Oryza Sativa Room, 3rd Floor on April 30, 2024 offline.
The event was attended by various related parties, including the Chair of UB Bureaucratic Reform Unit, the Head of Business Management Agency (BPU), the Director of Brawijaya Smart School (BSS), the Director of UB Clinic, the Director of UB Hospital, the Area Manager, RSUB Integrity Zone Team, UB Clinical Integrity Zone Team, Brawijaya Smart School UB Integrity Zone Team, Brawijaya University Integrity Zone Team, and UB Bureaucratic Reform Unit Team.
Dr. Ngesti D. Prasetyo, Chair of the Bureaucratic Reform Unit, explained that in the Integrity Zone there are six change areas, namely the Change Management Area, Governance Area, HR Management System Structuring Area, Supervision Strengthening Area, Performance Accountability Strengthening Area, and Public Service Quality Strengthening Area. The aim of this workshop is a special series after the launch of the Integrity Zone, in line with the regulations of UB Board of Trustees in Strategic Plan Number 4 of 2022, where Brawijaya University is committed to build an Integrity Zone.
“2024 is the Integrity Zone development phase, with 23 work units, including UB Hospital, UB Clinic, and BSS, and four work units have been selected by DIKTI to go to the next phase. These work units are the Faculty of Agricultural Technology which is currently heading towards a Clean and Serving Bureaucracy Area (WBBM), the Faculty of Economics and Business towards a Corruption Free Area (WBK), the Faculty of Veterinary Medicine, and the Faculty of Computer Science. The first phase involves an internal assessment by the university assessment team,” explained Dr. Ngesti.
“Until now, the four work units are still active in building the Integrity Zone and are still in the process of filling in the evaluation worksheets and fulfilling the facilities and infrastructure to standardize the Integrity Zone Evaluation Worksheet,” he added.
Evaluation Worksheets that have been filled out by each unit can be monitored by the University Integrity Zone, Bureaucratic Reform Unit, DIKTI, and the Ministry of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (KemenpanRB) because the monitoring process is open.

The declaration of the Integrity Zone in the BPU UB Work Unit was carried out in totality. Hopefully, through full discussions in each manager area, the construction of the Integrity Zone can run more effectively.
Workshop participants were divided into six change area groups, accompanied and guided by their respective resource persons, namely: Change Management Area with resource person Nurjannah, S.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D,. Management Area with resource person Nurul Indayati, SE, MM., HR Management System Arrangement Area with resource person Dr. Dodyk Pranowo, STP., M.Sc. Areas for Strengthening Supervision with resource person Dr. Muhammad Nuh, SIP., Areas of Strengthening Performance Accountability with resource person Andy Kurniawan S., AP., M.AP. And Areas for Strengthening the Quality of Public Services with resource person Zulfaidah Penata Gama, S.Si., Ph.D. (wdd/ UB PR/ Trans. Iir).
