Universitas Brawijaya (UB) held a hybrid halal bihalal. The offline event was held at Samantha Krida Building, Tuesday (10/5/2022). While the online one is held through UB YouTube and UBTV streaming.
In this activity, out of a total of 3,302 who confirmed attendance, as many as 10 percent took part in online Halal Bihalal activities.
The chief executive of the activities, Dr. Rosihan Asmara, SE., MP., explained the implementation of Halal Bihalal offline to treat the longing to meet and apologize with the leadership and UB community.
“We hold this activity as a farewell gift for UB Rector, who will finish his term of office in June,” he said.
To anticipate crowds, the guests were divided into several sessions according to their work units.
The first session is at 08.00-08.30 for the Head Office and UB Partners; the second session at 08.30-09.00 for FEB, FIA, FH, FIB, and Fikes; the third session at 09.00-09.30 for FILKOM, FISIP, FKG, and FK; fourth session at 09.30-10.00 for FP, Fapet, FT, and Vocational; and session five at 10.00-10.30 for FKH, FMIPA, FPIK, FTP, and BPU.
The Rector, Prof.Dr.Ir. Nuhfil Hanani AR. , MS. revealed that in this Halal Bihalal activity, we can forgive each other in the context of Eid al-Fitr.
“I apologize if there are any mistakes. I urge us to forgive each other because it is a commendable act. In addition, we also have to maintain cohesiveness so that UB can achieve achievements,” said the former Dean of FP.
Prof. Nuhfil also said that with his term of office ending on June 26, he hoped that the new Rector who would be elected would make the university better. (OKY/Humas UB/ Trans. Iir).
