The Brawijaya University World Class University (WCU) Task Force Team held a meeting in the Rectorate Building meeting room (Monday, 2/10/2023). The meeting was chaired by the head of WCU UB task force team, Prof. Ananda Sabil was attended by UB Vice Rector for Academic Affairs. Prof. Imam Santoso.
The topic of discussion at the meeting focused on discussing WCU’s main programs, including visiting professors, publication incentives, lecturers who carry out activities at foreign universities, as well as various other global outreach activities.
Different from previous years, this year, WCU task force team plans to integrate WCU programs with various existing superior university programs with a focus on QS 100 partners. “Program integration is a strategy that is expected to optimize the potential owned by the university,” said Prof. Imam Santoso. He said that one of the big hopes from this integration is closer collaboration between WCU program and other leading university programs.
It is hoped that this collaboration will not only be limited to the task force team, but will involve all units outside the task force team. In this way, there is a synergy that can increase the effectiveness of WCU program in achieving university ranking goals and efficiency in program management.
