Robotics, which is currently an LSO FILKOM UB and under the auspices of the Robotics and Embedded Systems Lab, has prepared its team carefully to advance to the 2023 Indonesian Robot Contest (KRI). Of the seven competition divisions, the Robotics team will take part in the KRSBI Humanoid and KRBAI divisions. . Reminding that KRBAI is a new division that is being held this year, namely the Indonesian Underwater Robot Contest.
KRI 2023 activities are held in stages, namely Regional Level Contests and National Level Contests. KRI Regional Level is held online, which is divided into two regions. KRI Region I was attended by participants from western Indonesia and KRI Region II was attended by participants from eastern Indonesia. A number of the best teams at the Regional Level KRI will be invited to take part in the National Level Indonesian Robot Contest. KRI 2023 National Level is held offline, where the participating teams compete directly on the competition field where the National KRI is held.
On Tuesday (29/5/2023) Vice Dean for Student Affairs, Alumni and Student Entrepreneurship, Drs. Muh. Arif Rahman, M.Kom. attending the preparations for the Robotics team which will compete at the regional level on June 1, 2023. The activity was also attended by the Head of Computer Engineering Study Program, Barlian Henryranu Prasetio, S.T., M.T., Ph.D; and Head of Robotics and Embedded Systems Laboratory, Edita Rosana Widasari, S.T., M.T., M.Eng., Ph.D.

Edita expressed her gratitude to FILKOM UB for their support to the Robotics team in preparing to take part in KRI 2023 event. For more than a month, the Robotics team has been doing trials on the robots that were prepared to take part in the competition.
“What is special this year is that the Robotics team immediately gets directions from the Robotics and Embedded Systems lab where the team members are included in the lab assistants, from the supervising lecturers are also members of the Robotics lab and the hope is to become a strong foundation for Robotics to take part in robot competitions from year to year,” explained Edita.
Furthermore, support was also conveyed by Arif Rahman to the students who took part in the competition. He said that the Robotics team was able to become a champion because the existing robots are used to participating in various competitions, especially this year FILKOM has a new robot in terms of year of manufacture.
