Community Service Grant Program Team Strengthens MSMEs Productivity of Gandusari Village

The Strategic Community Service Grant Program Team chaired by a lecturer from the Faculty of Economics and Business, Prof. Dr. Wuryan Andayani, C.A., CSRS., CSRA, increased the productivity of MSMEs in Gandusari Village, Blitar Regency to alleviate poverty. The activity was carried out from July 11 to December 2024 and aims to alleviate poverty.

The community service, which was also carried out together with eight students from Univesitas Brawijaya, chose Gandusari Village, which is known for its batik and food/snack production, which turns out to have three problems, namely in the fields of production, business management, and marketing. This activity program is also to support student activities in building villages (MMD) and the NIB registration work program for MSMEs.

The solution provided by the community service team will be planned to utilize Appropriate Technology (TTG) and prepare Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) in the production process. In improving business management skills, the community service team will provide socialization regarding the Business Identification Number (NIB) and prepare business financial reports. Meanwhile, in the marketing sector, digital marketing optimization and offline market networks will be carried out.

The residents consider the community service carried out to be enjoyable and gives gratitude to the community service team, as stated by Suko Elotin Vita as a community service participant and Chair of KUB Sekarsari.

Alhamdulillah, today’s activities are very enjoyable, not as we imagined (nervous) because it is the first time dealing with senior lecturers. Thank you, Mr. Endra and Team. We will wait another 2 weeks,” he said. (*/OKY/UB PR/ Trans. Iir)
