PPID ITB Team Visits UB

The Information, Documentation and Complaints Division (DIDK) Universitas Brawijaya (UB) received a visit from the Information Management and Documentation Officer (PPID) of Bandung Institute of Technology (PPID ITB) who also serves as the Head of the Communication and Public Relations Bureau. The team led by Dr. Naomi Haswanto, S.Sn., M.Sn. visit to find out how to manage information and data in UB so that it can achieve the title of a public agency in the ‘Informative’ category.

The ITB team was received by the Head of DIDK and the Head of Public Relations and Archives Sub-Division in the banquet hall of UB Rectorate Building (6th floor) Tuesday, (24/5/2022).

“The purpose of our visit to UB is to find out how to manage information and data as well as complaints that can bring UB to get the Informative title from the Central Information Commission,” said the Head of PPID executive ITB, Dr. Naomi Haswanto.

As it is known that UB won an award from the Central Information Commission (KIP) as a Public Agency with the “Informative” category in 2019, 2020 and 2021.

Zulfaidah Penata Gama, PhD said that this achievement was due to the cooperation of all academics and the commitment of the leadership.

“Due to the cooperation of all academics and the commitment of the leadership, UB successively achieves achievements as a public agency in the ‘informative’ category. The Rector, vice rector, and his staff are very supportive and committed to support the disclosure of public information in UB,” said Ida.

Ida explained DIDK also manages UB-Care as a means for the entire academic community and society to provide input/suggestions, appreciation or criticism to UB. This service is intended so that information is distributed to the public quickly, easily and satisfactorily. (Humas UB/ Trans. Iir)
