Universitas Brawijaya (UB) Men’s Volleyball Team managed to win over Hang Tuah University team at the East Java Provincial Student Sports Week (POMPROV) II, Saturday (15/07/2023). The competition for the Indoor Volleyball Sports branch was held at GOR Polije Jember Field.
The coach of UB Volleyball Team, Eko, expressed his pride for the Men’s Team in UB Indoor Volleyball because they could prove themselves as a strong and solid team.
“UB team succeeded in defeating Hang Tuah University team with such a tight game. This victory is a good start and we hope to maintain this momentum,” said Eko.
He added, a member of the Men’s Volleyball Contingent Team, Fajar Allaam Hibatullah from UB Faculty of Animal Husbandry, was one of the players who played a very important role in the match, his brilliant performance helped his team to victory.
Meanwhile, Official Dani Wahyu Buana also expressed his pride for the Men’s Indoor Volleyball team.
“We are very proud of the performance and passion of our team in the match, and we hope to continue to maintain this passion and energy throughout the tournament,” said Dani.
Dani said that in the previous year of POMPROV, UB was recorded as successful into the top 16.
“With this result, UB team is increasingly showing that they are a force to be reckoned with on the men’s indoor volleyball field,” he said.
