After join in TOEFL test and interview, lecturer with employment contract participants at University of Brawijaya (UB) then joined in substantial writing test on Tuesday (1/Mar/2016). The three were summarized in Subject Ability Test (Tes Kemampuan Bidang/TKB). Followed by 383 participants, the event located at Pertamina Sport Hall. Evi Hayati, S.Ag., M.AB, Sub-Division Head of Lecturer at UB’s Personnel Division mentioned, the test was aimed to know each applicant’s competence.
The writing test contains multiple choice questions in related with subject intended by applicant. This regard was different with Basic Ability Test (Tes Kemampuan Dasar/TKD) that contains general problems such as personal characteristics, general knowledge and national insight. “The questions were created by question-drafting team of each faculty along with Rectorate team,” said Evi. Around 50 questions should be accomplished in 75 minutes. Different with others, Faculty of Law gives 100 questions to the participant meanwhile vocational program requires writing essay.
The test result announcement will be released on 5 March 2016 at 00:00 am WIB. Therefore, participants were requested to always follow the information progress on website.
Participants who passed TKB will join in further test series including physical and spiritual health test. “The physical test will be held through general check up, meanwhile spiritual health will be done by psycho test,” said Evi. [Denok/Humas UB/trans. Denok]
