Fulfillment and requirement of prevalent specialist doctor numbers is a need and government’s program. This regard was delivered by Dean of Faculty of Medicine University of Brawijaya (FK UB) Dr. dr. Sri Andarini, M.Kes in the procession of Specialist Doctor Inauguration, Friday (26/Feb/2016) at FK UB’s Educational Centre Building.
In her remarks, the Dean expected to the specialists in order to have roles maximally. “We also hope that specialists observe and understand the regulations,” she explained.
Represents Director of Dr. Saiful Anwar Malang hospital, Vice Director on Service and Education, dr. Ahmad Zainal, MMPM mentioned that national health insurance is Universal Health-Coverage’s achievement target. “Doctors’ readiness is necessary, either in government of private sector to serve people professionally without distinguishing status,” he explained.
He also mentioned, the profession’s challenge requires doctors and hospitals to give efficient services yet qualified. “Becoming a great duty for doctor and other health professionals and also related sectors hand in hand in improving obsolete health service system and regenerate it into integrated and sustainable health service system,” he explained.
At recent procession, FK UB inaugurated 19 specialist doctors out of eight study programs such as Pathology Clinic including dr. Leliawaty, SpPK and dr. Erlin Nursiloningrum, SpPK; Skin and Venereal Specialist on behalf of dr. Krisna Ariaputra, SpKK; dr. Anggun Putri Yuniaswan, SpKK; Ear Nose Throat, Head and Neck Specialist on behalf of dr. Farah Ayu Niswana, SpTHT-KL and dr. Anis Eko Kristiawan, SpTHT-KL; internal disease specialist on behalf of dr. Aditya Chandra Putram SpPD; Anesthesia study program on behalf of dr. Scarpai Puspitasari, SpAn and dr. Khairnunnisa T, SpAn; study program of neurology on behalf of dr. Ashalia Chandara Dewi, SpS and Dr Fahia Annis Pramesti, SpS; Pulmonology and respiratory Sciences study program on behalf of dr Dewi Kartikaningsih, SpP; dr. Yenny Transiska, SpP; dr. Lindayanti Sumali, SpP and dr. Aisyah Radiyah, SpP; and also heart and blood vessel disease on behalf of dr. Widyo Mahargo, SpJP; dr. Joko Hermawan, SpJP; dr. Indra Prasetya, SpJP and dr.
