For the first time, Universitas Brawijaya will host three national level student events in 2022. This was conveyed by Vice Rector III for Student Affairs, Alumni and Student Entrepreneurship, Prof. Dr. Drs. Abdul Hakim, M.Si. while opening the Student Art Week. This event was held on Thursday (02/6/2022) at Widyaloka Building, Universitas Brawijaya.
In his speech, the man who is familiarly called Hakim hopes for support from all UB Academic Community. “I hope it is not only success in the implementation of the event, but also success in achieving. These three events are very difficult to win, because of the intense competition between universities. I really hope for support from the Dean, Vice Dean III to seriously carry out coaching in the context of these three activities,” he explained.
Universitas Brawijaya is also currently becoming the Chair of the East Java Indonesian Student Art Development Board. “I hope students will be able to pass to Peksimida first, then to Peksiminas,” he explained.
The national competitions that will be held in UB are National Student Art Week, Information and Communication Technology Student Festival, and National Olympiad of Mathematics and Natural Sciences. These three events will take place in October and November. “I beg the students to keep bringing the spirit and the good name of the university,” he concluded before inaugurating the implementation of Peksima.
