Inbound Students of FKG and UPM Discuss Nanotechnology and Nanomedicine

The Faculty of Dentistry, Universitas Brawijaya (FKG UB) held a Student Inbound exchange program with the theme Nanotechnology and Nanomedicine. This activity will be carried out from March to May 2024 online and offline.

Online activities are carried out in the form of lectures with experts and joint case discussions. Meanwhile, offline activities are carried out through workshops, lectures, field trips, etc.

Offline activities will start on May 1 2024, with the arrival of students from Malaysia. The students who attended were students from Universiti Putra Malaysia, one of the networks of FKG UB. On the following day, FKG UB welcomed students from Hue University Vietnam.

The activity opened with a welcome for the 5 inbound students. After the opening ceremony, the five students attended lectures at FKG UB. On the next day, students presented their ideas together.

After that, they attended a workshop with expert speakers in the field of Nanotechnology. The workshop activity which attended by inbound students was the workshop: in vitro test by the speaker, the Dean of FKG UB, Dr. Nur Permatasari., drg., MS; workshop: Characterization of Nanomaterials by Prof. Zobir; workshop: Green Synthesis and In vivo toxicity test by Assoc. Prof. Azura from UPM Malaysia.

In addition to academic activities, these five students also spend time doing non-academic activities with other FKG students.

Together with BEM FKG UB, these inbound students carry out student activities to exchange their respective cultures.

Moreover, these five inbound students also had the opportunity to travel to Bromo to see the beauty of East Java.
