Sticker mandatory policy specified under the leadership of UB’s Rector is not in vain. Since obligation of official sticker for each vehicle that entered University of Brawijaya surroundings, density level has been reduced. These regards are caused reduction of vehicles that are not concern entered the campus surroundings.
One of campus security officer, Antok Mardicahyanto mentioned that application of the rules give some positive impacts like more orderly environment, decreased vehicle volume, the arrangement is not a mess and more conducive environment condition. “For students who enter is compulsory to show sticker, particularly whose sticker are put in the wallet, this applies to both students either who ride motorcycle or car. For volume density could reach twenty percent, if seen from a comparison between incoming and outgoing vehicles especially during active hours,” he explained.
The rules initiated to be activated since 1 March 2006, in the future will also have an impact to reduce loss of vehicle and its equipment like helmet that ever happened. For people who has no sticker yet having interests in the campus, will be given a pass card in the time of entry and would be returned when leave, on condition of leaving identity card when signing at security post.
A mandatory sticker regulation in the time of entry will be operated in a long term, to create convenient university environment, orderly and supporting UB’s program in reducing air poluution level in the campus environment. [reza/Vicky/Humas UB]
