Brawijaya students become the Official Partner Country Hannover Messe 2023 team. Those who are the Axotic Farm team consist of Daffa Khairan (FPIK 2018), Muhammad Setiawan Gusmi (FPIK 2018), Raditya Putra Trenggono (FPIK 2021), and Brillian Prastica (FPIK 2018).
CEO of Axotic Farm, Daffa Khairan, explained that at the Hannover Messe 2023 Axotic Farm is positioning itself as “Indonesian Fish Trading” because they also bring various Indonesian fishery commodities there.
“Hopefully, through this, Indonesia can increase opportunities for fishery market expansion to Europe. This is also in line with the vision of the Ministry of Maritime Affairs and Fisheries (KKP) to be able to expand to Europe because based on KKP data the value of fishery exports to European Union countries is USD 357.12 million or only 6.26% of the total,” said Daffa
Axotic Farm itself is a company resulting from downstream research from Universitas Brawijaya students which focuses on developing fishery products.
One of its accomplishments is the successful development of the U-RCS system (Ultra Recirculated Chiller System) in which this system can manipulate parameters so that it can develop various commodities with a closed-loop system.
The commodity that becomes focus is the Axolotl (Ambystoma Mexicanum) which was successfully developed through the U-RCS system where basically the Axolotl is endemic to Mexico living in a subtropical climate, but is now being successfully developed and adaptive in Indonesia which has a tropical climate.
“This achievement is a new beginning for larger research development ideas such as Salmon which might be developed in Indonesia,” he said.
Previously, Axotic Farm was the result of downstream research that had gone through various competitions and received a Silver Medal at PIMNAS XXXIV, Champion I KMI awards, Champion I UTU Awards in the field of business planning.
Hannover Messe 2023 is the world’s largest annual industrial technology exhibition organized by Deutsche Messe AG (DMAG) by collaborating with partner countries as Official Partner Countries. Hannover Meese 2023 will start from April 17 to 21 and will be attended by more than 90 participating countries and will be visited by many business people from all over Indonesia.
During this activity, Indonesia was entrusted with becoming the Official Country Partner of the Hannover Messe 2023.
There were 13 ministries/agencies participating in the event.
