The Handover of UB Postgraduate School Leadership
Postgraduate UB holds the Position Handover of the Director and Deputy Director of General Affairs, Finance and Resources, Friday (7/1/2022), in the 3rd floor Hall of Postgraduate A Building. Director for the 2019-2021 interim period, Prof. Dr. Marjono, MPhil was replaced by Prof. Dr. Muh Khusaini, SE, Msi who will serve in the 2022-2023 period. Meanwhile, the Deputy Director for the 2019-2021 period for General Affairs, Finance and Resources, which was previously held by Andi Kurniawan, S.Pi, M.Eng, D.Sc, was replaced by Dr. Ir. Anton Efani, MP.
The newly inaugurated director, Prof. Khusaini, conveyed that the focus program which he will be doing is improving the teaching and learning process both for lecturers and students. In addition, he will pay attention to improving the quality of student input. Within a year, he will build networks with companies and local governments that are beneficial for the progress of the study program.
Previously, Prof. Marjono in his speech hoped that in the next leadership the number of students of the Master Program in Women’s Studies could be further increased. He said that UB Postgraduate has collaborated with local governments to increase the number of students. Specifically for PMKW, communication has been established with the Government of Sidoarjo and Timor Leste. However, there has been no significant realization.
There are also international students who are interested in studying at UB Postgraduate, however Prof. Marjono said that the obstacle is mainly in terms of funding. “Postgraduates must coordinate with the International Office, UB can waive tuition fees.
