In related with the release of Regulation of Minister of Research, Technology and Higher Education Republic of Indonesia Number 4 Year of 2016 about Organization and Working Procedure of University of Brawijaya, affirmed that Program of Information Technology and Computer Science officially to become Faculty of Computer Science. By the change, the new leader board have also chosen and ready to give contribution to develop faculty toward the better.
Faculty of Computer Science leadership board that has inaugurated by University of Brawijaya’s Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Mohammad Bisri, MS are Dean of Faculty of Computer Science that served by Wayan Firdaus Mahmudy, S.Si., M.T., PhD accompanied by Vice Dean on Academic Affairs Ir. Heru Nurwarsito, M.Kom, Vice Dean on General Administration and Finance Affairs Drs. Marji, M.T., and also Vice Dean of Student Affairs Edy Santoso, S.Si., M.Kom.
Afterwards, handover of Faculty of Computer Science leadership official held on Monday afternoon (11/Apr/2016) at Faculty of Computer Science’s H building. The official hand over witnessed by the entire lecturers, employees and also Faculty of Computer Science student representatives of which Head of Information Technology and Computer Science Program Head Ir. Sutrisno, MT who served during period of 2011-2015 handed over all leadership positions to Wayan Firdaus Mahmudy, S.Si., M.T., PhD as the latest Faculty of Computer Science Dean.
In his remarks, Ir. Sutrisno, MT delivered his great gratitude for the support of all the Faculty of Computer Science big family who has been together developing Faculty of Computer Science till such recent. He also asks apologizes if during the time still many entities who do not well served yet. “I ask for apologize also to the next leaders since I have left many homeworks,” said Ir. Sutrisno.
Meanwhile Wayan Firdaus Mahmudy, S.Si., M.T., PhD as Faculty of Computer Science Dean in his remarks delivered that leading Faculty of Computer Science is a heavy responsibility, since previous leader Ir. Sutrisno in the last five years have been able to make Faculty of Computer Science advanced very rapidly. Wayan also delivered his gratitude since previous leaders has put strong foundation, thus can help to assist Faculty of Computer Science development into further step. “I believe with the support of friends particularly youths who still able to go forward and run fast that will make Faculty of Computer Science to be more advanced with foundation that has been strong,” said Wayan.
