A total of nine UB students from the Faculty of Cultural Studies (FIB), Faculty of Agriculture (FP), Faculty of Social and Political Sciences (FISIP), Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM), Faculty of Law (FH), and Faculty of Veterinary Medicine (FKH) took part in the student exchange program to the University of Western Australia (UWA). This program will take place on (29/6-13/7/2024).
In this program facilitated by Global Academic Engagement (GAE) Universitas Brawijaya, students were accompanied by the Chief Executive of Wike Agustin Prima Dania STP, M.Eng, PhD. This program is designed to broaden students’ horizons in communication techniques and critical thinking, as well as provide an in-depth understanding of Australian culture.
During their two weeks at UWA, students take part in a series of workshops and training sessions designed to improve their ability to communicate effectively and think critically. In addition, they also engage in a variety of cultural activities that help them understand and appreciate Australia’s cultural diversity.
Wike Agustin Prima Dania, as the head of the activity, hopes that through this program, students can gain valuable experience that will enrich their academic and cultural insight.
“We also hope that they can apply the communication and critical thinking techniques they have learned at UWA in their future academic and professional lives,” she said.
It is hoped that this student exchange program will be the first step for Universitas Brawijaya’s students to establish closer academic ties with the University of Western Australia and other universities throughout the world. (*/oky/UB PR/ Trans. Iir)
