A total of 281 new students of the first batch of prospective judges for PSDKU Master of Law in Jakarta, Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya (FL UB) as a result of the implementation of collaboration with the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia attended the Educational Orientation (Ordik) activity which was held online on Saturday, (27/4/2024).
Student of prospective judges who took part in this orientation activity have officially started their academic journey at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya PSDKU in Jakarta. Close collaboration between the Supreme Court of the Republic of Indonesia (RI) and Universitas Brawijaya (UB) produces educational programs aimed at increasing skills and knowledge in the field of law.
The orientation activity was attended by all levels of leadership at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya. Also present were the Head of Indonesian Supreme Court’s Legal and Judicial Education and Training Policy Strategy Agency (BSDK), Bambang Hery Mulyono, S.H., M.H., and the Head of the Judicial Technical Education and Training Center, Syamsul Arief, S.H., M.H.
In his opening, the Dean of the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya, Dr. Aan Eko Widiarto S.H., M.Hum., emphasized the importance of collaboration between higher education institutions and judicial institutions to create quality human resources in the legal field.
“This collaboration is a progressive step in providing legal education that is relevant to the needs of the times, as well as preparing future leaders in the judiciary,” said Dr. Aan.
The Orientation of PSDKU Master of Law in Jakarta is a forum for students from the Indonesian Supreme Court Education and Training Center to develop skills and knowledge in the field of law. Supported by qualified teaching staff and the latest curriculum, it is hoped that students will be able to become agents of positive change in the justice system in Indonesia.
