The Bureaucratic Reform Unit Team of Universitas Brawijaya held a monitoring and evaluation activity for the Integrity Zone at the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya (FH UB). This monitoring and evaluation is part of FH UB’s ongoing efforts to improve good integrity in the academic and administrative environments.
UB Bureaucratic Reform Unit Team led by Dr. Ngesti D. Prasetyo, SH, M.Hum., as the Head of UB Bureaucratic Reform Unit Division, conducted a series of evaluations of the implementation of the Integrity Zone program, especially at FH UB.
According to Dr. Ngesti, the arrival of UB bureaucratic reform unit to FH aims to improve governance of the Integrity Zone activities that have been carried out by FH UB.
“Our arrival at FH UB is as partners, so tell us what needs to be improved,” said Dr. Ngesti.
The evaluation conducted by UB Bureaucratic Reform Unit team includes an assessment of policies, service procedures, and the implementation of programs that have been running. In addition, the team also provides input and recommendations for further improvements.
“In 2024, this bureaucratic reform unit will focus on development, while in 2025 we will only focus on victory,” added Dr. Ngesti.
The event, which took place on Tuesday, July 16, 2024, at the Auditorium on the sixth floor of A Building, UB Faculty of Law, was attended by a number of important parties, including the dean, vice dean, lecturers and administrative staff, who are members of the IZ team at UB Faculty of Law.
In his remarks, the Dean of UB Faculty of Law, Dr. Aan Eko Widiarto, S.H., M.Hum., said that the Integrity Zone is the faculty’s commitment to support the creation of a clean educational environment and providing the best service.
“We are committed to continue improving transparency and accountability in every aspect of our activities, both academic and administrative. This monitoring and evaluation activity is an important step in ensuring that these efforts are running well,” said Dr. Aan.
Dr. Aan also added that the Faculty of Law has created its own unit that specifically handles faculty accountability.
“We have created the GJA (Accountability Guarantee Group) unit which aims to ensure accountability and transparency at FH UB, especially in the context of internal supervision and control to improve the quality of service,” added Dr. Aan.
With the implementation of this activity, it is hoped that the Faculty of Law, Universitas Brawijaya can continue to improve the quality of good governance, create a clean and corruption-free environment, and provide the best service to all stakeholders. (Rma/FH PR/ UB PR/ Trans. Iir)
