Five students from the Accounting Study Program, Faculty of Economics and Business, Universitas Brawijaya (FEB UB) created an innovative concept to help MSME’s financial management called Saldo Pintar. Dini Ayu Fajarani, Nur Kholiq Ardiansyah, Rizky Rahmat Ramadhani, Alan Andre Surya Ginting, said that Saldo Pintar is a platform based on Artificial Intelligence (AI) that aims to increase financial efficiency and help develop Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (UMKM). The main advantage of SaldoPintar lies in its automatic financial recording based on AI and the Chatbot feature that provides adaptive financial management strategies according to MSME needs. This is a concrete solution for many business actors who often experience difficulties in managing their finances.
This innovation is still in the development stage and will be implemented and socialized to several MSME in Malang City, so that it can help resolve what is currently happening in MSME. This team targets micro MSME who still have difficulty in recording finances in the business they are running, so that they can have a positive impact and beneficial in the community and create an upgraded UMKM.
“We made this innovation because we wanted to have an impact to the community, especially MSME owners, I think there are still some MSME owners who still have difficulty in managing their finances, so hopefully SaldoPintar can be a solution that can help them,” said Dini
This innovation has been tested to be included in the competition at the Inspirex Summit Fest 2025 event organized by EduHub Incubator and managed to win a bronze medal in the competition. This prestigious competition took place offline at the Indonesian Education University, Bandung on February 14-17, 2025.
“To be honest, this is the first time my team and I have participated in a competition at college with very short preparation. From the beginning, there was no expectation of winning, but we tried to prepare as best as we could and of course didn’t forget to pray,” said Dini. (FER/UB PR/ Trans. Iir).
