The Chancellor of Universitas Brawijaya, Prof. Dr. Widodo, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D., attended an invitation to break the fast (iftar) together held by the Saudi Arabian Embassy in Jakarta, on Tuesday (4/3/2025) to strengthen academic and cultural relations between Indonesia and Saudi Arabia, the Chancellor of Universitas Brawijaya (UB). This event is part of educational diplomacy that expands research collaboration, student exchanges, and strengthens networks with global institutions.
The Saudi Arabian Ambassador to Indonesia, H.E. Mr. Faisal Bin Abdullah H. Amodi, expressed his appreciation for UB’s commitment in designing collaborative programs that have a broad impact.
“We really appreciate UB’s dedication in creating new opportunities for closer cooperation,” he said.
The Chancellor also emphasized that this momentum of iftar not only strengthens the ties of friendship, but also becomes a strong foundation for a number of strategic initiatives.
“Through this forum, we want to increase the visibility of Universitas Brawijaya in the international arena,” he explained.
