UB’s Rector Intends to Return Patriotism Generations

UB's Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Mohammad Bisri, MS along with the Archipelago Sultanate Intellectual BondPatriotism degradation of the youth of this country is necessary to be assessed because it affects moral of daily lives. These regards becomes attention of UB’s Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Mohammad Bisri, MS and the Archipelago Sultanate Intellectuals Bond (Ikatan Cendekiawan Keraton Nusantara/ICKN) Prof. Dr. Juajir Sumardi, SH., MH to revitalize noble values of the nation which leads to the Indonesian youth morality.

Juajir deliberately visit UB on Wednesday (16/Mar/2016) since UB’s area is included in Singosari Monarch, who still in relative with the sultanate. Juajir as ICKN representative intends to hand in hand with colleges to develop a program called a new-legend urban of the archipelago sultanate.

There are several sectors should be focused on development of a new-legend urban of the archipelago sultanate such as presenting miniature of the existence archipelago monarchies, enhance the business sector (creative industries), facilitating introduction of national and international icons and also development of Griya Wisata Herbal Keraton Nusantara (the Archipelago Sultanate Herbs Tourism House).

Bisri appreciates a program of the Archipelago Sultanate new Legend Urban lifted by ICKN since UB is able to facilitate by the existence of Faculty of Cultural Studies, LPPM’s Cultural Centre and also Architecture program at Faculty of Engineering which learns historical building architect.

“UB also have developed research on nanotechnology that could be elaborated with herbal plants and recently is developed by Faculty of Agricultural Technology and Faculty of Sciences,” said Bisri to respond GWHKN concept.

Bisri assumes there is a similarity on common ideas and eagerness between sultanate entities represented by ICKN and Brawijaya University by LPPM. Each entity who involved still have potency just remained to marry off. In addition also the existence of life matters that increasingly uncertain, such as degenerative diseases, and so it is important to return livelihood adjusted with national cultural values.
