The Rector of Universitas Brawijaya (UB), Prof. Widodo, S.Si., M.Si., Ph.D.Med.Sc welcomed the arrival of UB delegates who won international competitions, Wednesday (02/19/2025), on the 1st Floor of the Rectorate Building.

“Congratulations on your achievements. I am sure this is the result of hard work and sacrifice of the students who continue to learn and struggle to improve their competence, and persistently carry out activities beyond what is expected without complaining. Because if you don’t exceed, you won’t achieve anything,” said the Chancellor.
The Chancellor also expressed his gratitude to all parties who supported the success of the delegation, starting from the lecturers, Deans, Vice Deans, leadership ranks, and all parties who gave students the opportunity to develop themselves.
“The important thing is to remain humble, because the more humble we are, the easier it will be for us to work together, and the easier it will be to achieve,” said the Chancellor.

“Not many university graduates choose to establish startups or companies. The challenges are not easy, not only technological challenges, but also from family and society,” said the Chancellor.
The Chancellor hopes that the startups run by students, as well as the innovations and applications created, will not stop until they receive awards in competitions or contests. But they will be developed and sustainable, until they are applied directly to the community. [Ronny/Irene/UB PR/ Trans. Iir]
