In order to improve postgraduate’s quality as World Class University, University of Brawijaya (UB) gives full attention the importance of facilities. Faculty of Law UB inaugurated postgraduate program’s new building in a series of thanksgiving ceremony and alumni meeting. Thanksgiving ceremony and operational inauguration of FH-UB’s postgraduate building organized on Monday (27/Feb/2016) at C building’s second floor Faculty of Law.
The event initiated with FH-UB’s Dean Dr. Rachmad Syafa’at, SH welcoming speech and continued with UB’s Rector Prof. Dr. Ir. Mohammad Bisri, MS greeting speech. The rector signed epigraph and cut the ribbon as building inauguration mark. After the procession took place, it was continued with building inspection by Rectorate board and FH’s Dean.
Postgraduate program of Faculty of Law building construction that started on February could be functioned although not yet fully accomplished. Therefore, the Rector urges, while advanced development held, hopefully the building already been utilized as maximum as possible.
“Numbers of graduate and postgraduate alumnus should be balanced. Thereby UB as World Class University could be accomplished. Postgraduate’s new building construction is one of UB’s efforts to improve postgraduate program quality at UB,” said the Rector in his greeting speech.
The building which was originally funded from state budget will be accomplished furthermore by using non-tax revenue and so the construction could be totally finalized. FH’s Dean in his welcoming speech explained that FH-UB’s postgraduate building will equipped with practice laboratory and also two-storey library which definitely will very helpful in educational process.
“Afterwards Faculty of Law will increasingly have good reputation. FH’s struggling which was established in early 1957 cannot be separated from its founders and alumni who have been striving hard. Afterwards, the caretaker ranks will give the best and pursue the struggling by continuously improving quality, particularly by improving postgraduate alumni.
