Universitas Brawijaya has just inaugurated the Management of UB Pension Association (IPUB) for the 2023-2027 period, Friday (17/03/2023), in the Faculty of Agricultural Technology (FTP) Building. The inauguration which was directly carried out by UB Rector with the theme “Keep Enthusiastic, Helpful, and Participate in Building Universitas Brawijaya” succeeded in establishing a new management consisting of core administrators and several other fields.
The entire process of inauguration refers to the new AD/ART that was ratified in 2022 with a more streamlined management structure in order to accelerate all programs that have been prepared according to the organizational plan.
Head of IPUB, Prof. Dr. Ir. Bambang Guritno, in his speech said that the theme that was carried had reflected the productivity of pensioners in carrying out their various activities.
“Elderly will experience which in Javanese are old and lonely. But this can be handled with a sense of happiness through healthy body and spirit, enthusiasm, and the joy of living for the grace of Allah SWT. Then hopefully all members of IPUB can always live happily.” he said.
IPUB which has been established since August 17, 2009 is intended to be able to gather all retired members in UB as an effort to strengthen friendly relations, channel all aspirations they have, and form efforts to improve the welfare of its members who are independent, free, active, creative, professional, neutral and responsible.
Meanwhile, UB Rector, Prof. Widodo, S.Si.,MSi.,Ph.D also expressed his gratitude to all administrators of IPUB for having the fighting spirit to continue to build a better UB in the future. “I will continue to support all future activities to build the quality of Universitas Brawijaya together.” he concluded.
