Universitas Brawijaya (UB) held a University Secretary Leadership Working Meeting with the theme “Supporting the Rector’s Priority Programs 2025”, at the Grand Surya Hotel Kediri, November 13-14, 2024.
This activity was attended by five divisions under the auspices of the University Secretary, namely the Legal Division (DH), the Administration and Household Division (DTUK), the Information and Public Relations Division (DIK), the Leadership Secretariat and Protocol Division (DSPP), and the Occupational Safety, Health, and Environment Division (K3L).
University Secretary, Dr. Tri Wahyu Nugroho, S.P., M.Si when opening the event said that this activity was to evaluate performance achievements and budget absorption during 2024, and to discuss the 2025 work program.
“The division under the University Secretary functions as a supporter of campus activities, but has an important role in building a good ecosystem in campus, as well as maintaining good relations with external parties. Therefore, the work program that has been planned for 2024 needs to be maximized,” explained Tri Wahyu Nugroho.
On this occasion, each Head of Division or the representative conveyed the performance achievements and problems faced in each division, discussed solutions, and delivered the 2025 work program.
The University Secretary provided various inputs to each division, including the need for good engagement with external parties such as the mass media, improving the competence of security and drivers, regulating campus curfews, regulating the installation of billboards, the need for coordination between the legal and public relations divisions so that the Rector’s Regulations are well socialized, and designing programs to support the Rector’s priority programs.
The output of this activity is the preparation of the University Secretary’s Performance Report for the 2024 period. [Irene/UB PR/ Trans. Iir]
