Dozens of Lecturers and FILKOM Staff Take Antibody Rapid Test

A total of 52 lecturers and educational staff / staff of the Faculty of Computer Science (FILKOM) who work in the office (WFO) take the Antibody Rapid Test. This activity is to fulfill Universitas Brawijaya Rector’s Instruction Number 497 / UN10 / TU / 2021 concerning Limiting Campus Activities in Universitas Brawijaya.
This is also done in the context of screening to avoid the spread of the Covid-19 virus. Delivered by dr. Winda Sabtikarisa, one of the medical personnel who was on duty, this antibody rapid test will be examined for the patient’s antibodies against the Covid-19 virus through a blood sample. The results will be obtained no later than two days after sampling and the accuracy reaches 20%.
“Therefore, those with positive rapid antibody test results still have to be reconfirmed by doing a PCR (Polymerase Chain Reaction) swab. While waiting for the results of the PCR swab, the person concerned must be wfh (work from home / work from home), “explained dr. Winda.
Besides requiring screening for human resources (HR) assigned for WFO, UB Rector’s Instruction also includes several other restrictions for mutual security, such as limiting the number of human resources with a maximum WFO of 25% on 11-24 January 2021, requiring all official meetings, both meetings / workshops / discussions are conducted online, prohibiting human resources of UB from traveling outside Malang Raya and obliging guests from outside UB to show evidence of antigen swab test results from competent institutions.
