Universitas Brawijaya, through its International Office, has once again strengthened its commitment to expanding global collaboration networks by welcoming a visit from 20 foreign lecturers from various international institutions. The delegation, which included representatives from the University of Southern Philippines Foundation and Universiti Malaysia Sarawak, was present to discuss academic collaboration plans across various fields.
The visit, which took place on Tuesday, October 8, 2024, marks a strategic step for Universitas Brawijaya in developing international cooperation, particularly in terms of faculty and student exchanges, joint research development, and international programs aimed at improving the quality of education at Universitas Brawijaya.
As the center responsible for managing international partnerships, the International Office played a central role in facilitating this meeting. Henny Rosalinda, S.IP., M.A., Ph.D., Head of International Academic Engagement at the International Office of Universitas Brawijaya, enthusiastically welcomed the visitors. “This visit is an important momentum in expanding academic synergies between Universitas Brawijaya and leading universities from various countries. We hope this collaboration will open up more opportunities for academic exchanges and research that will benefit Universitas Brawijaya’s human resource capacity development,” she stated.
Dr. Aahron M. Dinauanao, Director of Institutional Planning Development at the University of Southern Philippines Foundation, also expressed his hopes for the visit. “We see great potential in collaborating with Universitas Brawijaya, especially in the fields of research and academic development. We hope this partnership can be realized soon, with tangible benefits for both institutions,” he said.
