Undergraduate Program (S1) of Animal Husbandry Faculty of Animal Husbandry Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB) received excellent accreditation from the National Accreditation Board for Higher Education (BAN PT), Wednesday (28/7/2021). The score obtained by Fapet UB is 375 with accredited status and excellent ranking.
Superior accreditation is set to determine the quality assurance of study programs and universities, based on criteria that refer to national higher education standards.
The awarding of grades or levels of accreditation is no longer an A, B, or C grade, but turns into superior, good, excellent, and not accredited. This change is regulated in BAN-PT regulation Number 1 of 2020 and is based on the issuance of IAPS 4.0 and IAPT 3.0 regulations.
The change in the accreditation assessment instrument requires every higher education institutions manager to keep up with the changes by providing adequate facilities to students in order to gain supporting knowledge and skills.
