Professor of the Faculty of Animal Husbandry, Universitas Brawijaya (Fapet UB), Prof. Dr. Ir. Zaenal Fanani., MS., IPU faced the Almighty, Thursday (26/11/2020) at 16.39 WIB. He passed away at the age of 61 at Syaiful Anwar Hospital (RSSA) Malang due to illness.
The entire faculty of Fapet UB held an online event to send prayers for the deceased. Meanwhile, the last funeral and respect will be held on Friday (27/11/2020). However, considering the health protocol to avoid crowds, the event was broadcast live through ZOOM and YouTube Fapet UB.
Prof. Zaenal was born in Cirebon who has expertise in several fields, which are the livestock business development strategy, analysis of livestock business costs, optimization of livestock business, sustainable development of livestock business, a model of husbandry business partnership patterns, the productivity of livestock business workforce, regional livestock business development business strategies, and sustainable dairy farming agribusiness development strategies.
He studied at Gajah Mada University (UGM) on the Bachelor (S1) and Masters Program (S2) levels. Then proceed to the Doctoral Program (S3) at Padjadjaran University.
For the career ladder, the professor of animal husbandry development economics became a civil servant candidate (CPNS) at Fapet UB on January 1, 1986. Then one year later, in July 1987, he was appointed as a Civil Servant (PNS). Until the end of his life he had the title of professor who was inaugurated on April 3, 2004. (dta / Humas UB/ Trans.
