Six days prior to the closing of 2018 Brawijaya University Rector Election (PILREK) registration, Prof. Dr. Ir. Nuhfil Hanani AR., MS officially applied to move forward at PILREK UB 2018 as the first registrant.
Prof. Nuhfil was alone to visit and sign up at the secretary of PILREK UB 2018 on Friday (26/Jan/2018) by bringing the whole necessary documents to be checked by The Head of Committee Prof. Iwan Triyuwono, Ph.D., Ak. After the documents cross check was accomplished, he declared PILREK UB 2018 integrity pact and was guided by Prof. Iwan.
Prof. Nuhfil mentioned that he proceeded to sign up at PILREK UB 2018 was due to colleagues’ encouragement at Faculty of Agriculture as well as Deans of other faculties.
“In addition to bring Brawijaya University to be the best either in national or international level, to be a Rector also for Fastabiqul Khoirot (Competing to do good deeds). Because there are many spaces to increase our charity of worship either in carrying mandate or social activities,” as said the Dean of Faculty of Agriculture.
On another occasion, Prof. Dr. Ir. Ariffin, MS as Head of Brawijaya University Senate and Prof. Iwan Triyuwono, Ph.D., Ak attended a talk show which was organized at UBTV Studio. The talk show which was brought by Dr. Riyanto, M.Hum as the presenter, presented socialization of PILREK UB 2018 and description of expectation on what is wanted by Brawijaya University academic communities on their Rector candidates periods of 2018-2022.
