At the Audit Committee Communication Forum (FKKA) for Legal Entity State Universities which was held in the Algorithm room of Filkom Building, 2nd floor, Brawijaya University, Malang, on March 8-9 2024, Prof. Iwan Triyuwono, S.E., Ak., C.A., M.Ec., Ph.D, Chair of the Brawijaya University MWA Audit Committee, was elected as Chair of the PTN BH Audit Committee Communication Forum and Prof. Dr. Kartini, SE., M.Si., Ak., CA. Chair of the Unhas MWA Audit Committee as Secretary of the PTN BH Audit Committee Communication Forum.
In the selection process which was held at the event, Prof. Iwan Triyuwono succeeded in getting support from forum members to lead as Chairman. With a background of experience and knowledge in the fields of accounting and economics, as well as his experience as a professor at Brawijaya University, Prof. Iwan is considered the right candidate to lead this forum.
In his speech after being elected, Prof. Iwan expressed his gratitude for the trust given to him by his fellow forum members. He also expressed his commitment to work hard for the progress and effectiveness of the PTN BH Audit Committee Communication Forum.
As the Chairman of the Forum, Prof. Iwan Triyuwono has determination to facilitate the exchange of knowledge and experience between universities in terms of financial and asset management. He also plans to encourage constructive discussions on the various challenges faced by PTN-BH in operationalization, including asset management, taxation and financial arrangements.
With the leadership of Prof. Iwan Triyuwono, it is hoped that PTN BH Audit Committee Communication Forum will be more active and effective in facilitating inter-university collaboration to improve financial and asset management in the higher education sector in Indonesia. (UB PR/ Trans. Iir)
