Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun attended an international congress. Took a photo with a radiology professor from University of Utah USA Anne G. Osborn, MD It has become a commitment and an obligation to continue to produce the best work in the field of radiology that she has been concerning for more than ten years. That is the determination that doctor Yuyun always holds. It is such a proud moment when she got an invitation to present her scientific work from an international-class congress. Prof. Dr. dr. Yuyun Yueniwati, SpRad(K) had the opportunity to present her research at the international neuroradiology congress of AOCNR and SNR in Taipei, Taiwan in 2018. The Asian-Oceanian Congress of Neuroradiology (AOCNR) is a congress for all Asian-Oceania neuroradiologists. The 12th AOCNR held on 18-20 March 2018 coincided with the 21st Symposium Neuroradiologicum ‘The World Congress of Neuroradiology’ (SNR) 2018 held on 19-23 March 2018 and followed by 51 countries with 150 speakers.

As a gathering place for the world-class neuroradiologists, AOCNR aims to provide a platform and give an opportunity to share information about the scientific discoveries and clinical experiences of radiologists worldwide as they collaborate with their international partners and industry partners. Through this congress, it is expected to be an ideal meeting to stimulate the growth of ideas, build collaboration and carry out fruitful discussions in all aspects of neuroradiology.

At the congress, two educational posters of doctor Yuyun’s were selected to be presented. First, the poster with the title “The correlation between temporal bone pars petrosa density and anteroposterior diameter of the internal auditory canal in sensorineural hearing loss” got the opportunity to be presented in front of AOCNR participants on March 19, 2018. The second poster entitled “Both ADC and rADC the average rates in hyperacute are lower than those in acute stroke” was presented in front of SNR participants on March 20, 2018. Doctor Yuyun also had an opportunity to deliver oral presentation in front of the participants of SNR congress with the title “Accuracy of 3.0-Tesla MRI to support the diagnosis of nasopharyngeal carcinoma with early symptoms.”

The ultimate goal of this meeting is that every congress participant will get the latest information in the field of neuroradiology so that the results can be applied in their countries and can improve public health. [Yuyun/Humas UB]
