The Undergraduate Study Program in Nutrition Science carried out the Tridharma Collaboration Initiation with the International Islamic University Malaysia (IIUM). This activity aims to make the undergraduate nutrition study program a pioneer and reformer in scientific development related to the prevention and treatment of multiple nutritional problems with an internationally competitive approach to nutrition care and food management.
One of the activities that has been carried out is the initiation of collaboration in the field of education which is carried out through an online meeting on September 14 2022. This activity was attended by the Head of the Nutrition Department and lecturers from FIKES UB and IIUM. The results of the meeting held between the Nutrition Department of FIKES UB and IIUM agreed to initiate collaboration regarding student inbound, student outbound and Nutrition Course by inviting foreign lecturers as guest lecturers. This Nutrition Course activity must be attended by students of the undergraduate nutrition study program and is open to students outside the study program and foreign students.
“In addition to cooperation related to education, the initiation of collaboration in a series of Lecturer Works programs (DOKAR) is very helpful for the Undergraduate Program in Nutrition Science of FIKES UB to establish cooperation in other fields such as exchanging reviewers for nutrition journals at FIKES UB and IIUM, as well as initiating research related to metabolic syndrome and artificial intelligence in the field of nutrition,” said Chief Executive Leny Budhi Harti, S.Gz., M.Sc.Med.
Leny hopes that through this collaboration it can increase the Main Performance Index (IKU) 6, such as student exchanges, collaboration in education, research and community service.
